Virtual Zero - Use Existing Preferences

I've been dong some 3D cutting lately. After the rough cut, when I load the finish cut, the control program prompts to see if I want to use existing file preferences. This is a good thing because at that point, the center point has been machined down, and I couldn't run the whole virtual setup again. However, part of one of my models includes a flat space where I engrave some text, and when I load that toolpath, the control program wants to run through the whole virtual setup again. I have to cancel and just detect the touch plate at the origin point. So far, it's been OK, although I can see some inconsistencies in the depth of the text.

Shouldn't the control program prompt me about using existing file preferences when I load a new .tap file?

Thanks,
Tim
