inserting design into computer
I watched the shark video, which mentioned this subject, but left questions unanswered. How does one go about inserting a carving design from a sheet of paper into the CNC computer so that the CNC router carves the design into the wood? Thanks for your answer. Mike--Hitest4

Hi Mike,
The first thing you'll need to do is get that sheet of paper into some digital image format - jpg, bmp, png, tif. Ideally you would scan it. Another alternative that might work just as well - if you're really careful in how you do it - is take a picture of it.
Then import the picture and choose the carving toolpaths you want to use on the vectors generated. These 2 posts have some good discussion on this step (although only a VCarve toolpath was selected).
