tired of changing router the burn up, tell me about spindle

Post by aroff »

been thinking about switching to the spindle in my h1 shark
tired of routers burning up
but
at tad pricey and cant use a 1/2 in collet
plus 1/4 horse less than router
anyone have experience with spindle and anyone overcome the 1/2 collet

And pick up the ER20 collects you need.

I've been running this spindle for sometime and it's a lot better than a router. It's quieter, better speed control, you can spin it in both directions (point of order here check that forward is the direction your bits need to spin) and there's a lot less run out..
