CNC Shark for Sale

I am selling my CNC Shark. I bought it 2 years ago and am upgrading to a bigger system.

The system comes with a Bosch router, dust boot , the Vcarve software and has the 4th axis control board installed
(4th axis not included). I also have an additional tabletop with 3 rows of T-Track. I just confirmed with NwxtWave
that the Laser option could be added to this machine as well.

I would like to get $2200 for the setup.

I can not ship this right now. I am located in Northern Colorado.

Thanks
Keith

It would be a good idea to list the model and possibly a few picks of what your selling.

The machine just has CNC Shark, the controller has Model # US140129
The router is a Bosch Colt 1HP variable speed

That is an earlier model! The Piranha model is what I think replaced it. The other older machines would have been a a H3 which took a Bosch 1617 router or the newer HD4 which also takes the same router.
There is also a Shark II that has a cutting area of 13 x 25 that sells new for $2900. It also supports a larger router than what you are trying to sell.
The Piranha's sell for about $1900 new with a warranty. Those machines take a Bosch Colt router, but have a smaller cutting area.
We all think that what we have is worth more than anyone else thinks it's worth, but just consider being flexible when trying to sell it and you should get a buyer.
$2200 is asking a bit too much, but that is only my opinion.

The original Shark is closer in spec to the Piranha XL. Here's a quick comparison with new prices:

Code: Select all

CNC Shark: X: 13" Y: 24" Z: 4.25" Price: $2900
Piranha XL: X: 12" Y: 24" Z: 4" Price: $2500
Piranha FX: X: 12" Y: 13" Z: 3" Price: $1600
At least on paper, the Piranha XL has taken over the original Shark market. Buying new, you'd either go for a larger shark or the Piranha.
