Tim promised an update by the end of May. I have not seen any further info.

We have been working hard on delivering a couple of different models for the sharks.
We created a table top version that will sit on the table and carve about 2" dia max pieces.
We also have an upgrade kit for a mini lathe.
I will have more information including costs by the end of the month.
I will update via the forum and we will email everyone on our lists (if you have bought though us or have registered a product with us).

Thanks

Was any 4th axis demo done at IWF 2014?

Yes, I'm interested. Just purchased the CNC HD 2.0. Only get work with it on weekends but so far so good. Any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks

I hope we hear something soon. I'm coming up on my purchase decision date soon. I like the idea of the shark but I might end up going with ShopBot just so I can get a working 4th axis.

I see there has been a lot of posts for people looking for information on the 4th axis.
I wanted to provide you some pictures of the table top unit.
One is a picture with the unit by itself. Not shown is the electronic boards that go into your controllers.
The other is a picture with a Nova chuck on it.
It works very well and works with the 2.01 software.
We are sending to Rockler Picture and for them to put up on their website for sale.
We will also put it on our website forsale.

Thanks

Darn, now I have to decide whether to wait on my Piranha or just jump on a full size shark so I can use the 4th axis. :? :?:

hey, maybe it will work with your Piranha and you can upgrade later to full size Shark.

That's awesome. Looks like I'll be saving for the upgrade.
