Rick, I am new to the forum......your post dates back to fall of 15......I currently have a CNC, but really want the 4th axis and that is not available on the one I have. My plan is to replace the one I have with possibly a Shark. Would you share which machine you have and any thoughts on your purchase and set up of the 4th axis. I would also be interested in if you have the cooled spindle. any thoughts would be appreciated.

I have a Shark HD, I have had one for 5 years love it, It has a Porter-Cable Router, Touchplate, 4th axis have had it over 1 1/2 years, Aspire and Sketchup software. Running on Windows 10. Next purchase is a spindle. I enjoy woodworking with the machine it has given me the opportunity to create thing otherwise I probably could not do. Has been a very good machine to me.

All, I have been using my cnc shark black diamond edition for several years now, but I just bought the 4th axis for it. Can anyone post a simple starter project that I can use to get started with it? I would like the Vectric code so I can load it up and work through it on my machine. :)

I'd really recommend working through the "starter projects" that NWA provides and also those found on the Vectric site. From there you can then begin working on increasingly more intricate wrapped jobs! Have you seen this site?

Good Luck
