Here is a plaque I've done using vcarve pro for somebody who works for canisius college in Buffalo.NY

That's pretty nice looking, I like that a lot!

Do you route, then coat it with paint, then sand to remove the top paint?

The way I do plaques is I first put 2 coats of varnish on before I route it out . I then use spray ink on it because it dries in about 2 minutes. Then do a little sanding, and another 2 coats of varnish, finish. The reason I varnish before routing is so the color doesn't bleed thru the wood.

Ohhh, O.K., that makes good sense.
I will have to try that, I would've never thought about ink, I'll save this information.
