CNC Shark Forum

This project was originally designed in Google Sketchup. It's a shelf extension for a crowded dorm room. It has an adjustable laptop shelf so that the laptop may be used with a wireless keyboard thereby saving neck strain. This is made of birch plywood and all the dados in the sides and back were cut on the shark. Maybe I'm getting lazy, but its just so much easier for me to set this type of cut up on the Shark than routing by hand.

Of course the carving of the Duck on the side was also done on the shark. I'm liking the glazing technique with water based stain to bring out the carving.
