Gatling Launcher

Post by Bob »

Finally, a practical use for the Shark...
The 50 shot Gatling gun.
5 turns of the crank, 10 shots per turn equals, King of the neighborhood rubber band fights!!
And for an extra bonus, 3 bands can be loaded per slot. That's 150 shots of pure rubber band induced terror.
If tracers are needed add a red band every few rounds.

So many projects, so little time.

Eric,
Thank you.
Just think of the fun you are going to have.
I'm tempted to mount mine on top of my Jeep.

Very nice design work and project finishing. I bought one on the same concept but much smaller in size and cheaper in design that was being sold at the semi annual machine gun shoot in Bullit County KY where it has been held for years. Turned out really nice but I gotta warn you that comes in the project category of GWTMTOYH. Yes, that can't be pronounced but it stands for Got Way To Much Time On Your Hands. LOL I have had a few projects in this category. Like my personalized Corian counter top for my dogs dish. (which actually had a very practical function..... according to me :) Speaking up in your defense Bob, these projects often allow you to attempt and try out new tools, techniques, parts of the software not used before, etc, so along with the fact that it makes you a better designer, woodworker and craftsman.... you might even find a market for it. Ha Ha Ha

That is sooo cool! I need to add one of these to my firearms collection. Don't think my wife will allow me to terrorize the cats though :o

I'd be interested to know if anyone knows where to find the plans. So far I've come across the electric double rotor mini-gun with pictures but no plans. I think there's enough there to go on though.

Here kitty, kitty......

Roger,
Yes, I'm researching new techniques for cnc machining.
That's my story, I'm sticking to it.
