Thanks, but I won't claim genius status.
Learn what your router bits can do, what the router can do, and what the CNC can do. And think about what it could do with a piece of angle, lol.
The key, to me, is after you figure all that out, learn the software. That is the thing that controls it all. Personally, I try to design something new every day. I now have more designs than time to cut them, but I keep trying because there's always new possibilities to discover.

Hi there, been a while on this subject. Added a few pictures of the latest bowl I "turned" on my shark. This is made of Yucatan Rosewood.
I have upgraded my fixture by using Bosch aluminum sections instead of the aluminum angle. This affords easier clamping of the part being machined as well as the fixturing.
