No special skills, just a little fun!

Post by Keith Hodges »

Saw this on Facebook, and, since I have a niece who's a registered nurse and 30 some odd goats, thought a little fun was in order.

Being retired is hard work. Spending way too much time in the shop these days. (And loving it).

Ok, I'm afraid to ask, but... What is whethered and disbudded? That doesn't sound at all pleasant. I think I would avoid parking there. :)

Gordread, that's the whole point, keeping people out of their spot. Disbudded is removing horns. I have no idea about Wethered, but doesn't sound good.

Ouch, I kinda thought, but wasn't sure, and couldn't find it on Google.

Good thing there are a few experts here. I was guessing that wethering (sounds like weathering) was when the sheep were shorn, and disbudded would be castrated.
