A simple frame...

Post by BillK »

...is not what the customer wanted. So I threw away one I got at a dollar store, but kept the glass.

This 9.25 x 14" frame is in red oak to commemorate a trip to Ireland. About 6 hours of carve time here. The Celtic cross and bow are from the package with Aspire 4. The frame outline and shamrocks are my own creation.

The picture holds I designed and printed on a 3D printer I have access to.

Nice job Bill, great ideas just keep flowing.
Being retired is hard work. Spending way too much time in the shop these days. (And loving it).

Very nice.
If that's simple, what does your intricate work look like?

Update: a two picture variation. Just a 3D element or two and some V-carving. Red oak.
Have a great day!
