Welcome sign

Post by Iceman567 »

My daughter and BF just bought a German Shepherd puppy. They wanted a welcome sign for their home, so I
came up with this. Found a jpg image of a German Shepherd on-line. Simple V-Carve in cedar. Exterior oil paint for the letters. I used Cabot's Australian Oil
for the finish. Anybody have an opinion on Cabots?

Nice sign. I'm starting to get addicted to v carving wood also. Lots of great ideas ahead.
Being retired is hard work. Spending way too much time in the shop these days. (And loving it).
