Very few pictures...

Post by KarenW »

but a very long 10 days in the shop getting prepped and loaded for Trade Days. We cut, painted and finished a total of 47 items plus tore down and refinished 2 old pieces of furniture, cleaned, oiled and tuned a used planer and built displays.
....only to get rained out. :|
Still, I did manage to get one picture...

Sorry to hear that. The one we go to is indoors, so no problems. With our items being lit, the sunlight works against us, but the added advantage of weather not being a problem helps. But I do understand all the work and prep leading up to a show, it's frustrating.
Being retired is hard work. Spending way too much time in the shop these days. (And loving it).

Frustrating is putting it mildly. LOL!
We had 9 out of 10 days we didn't shut down the shop before 7:30 at night so to see all that just end in a soggy parking lot was a huge letdown.
Still, we're well ahead for the next one which is next weekend in a massive covered facility. Added bonus of our sudden break in the heat - should be a good couple of days.
Fingers crossed.
When is your next one?
Have you ever done Bonnie and Clyde in Arcadia?

Only one we do is Memphis Flea market in Jacksonville, Ark second weekend of each month. We did do Jacksonvilles Christmas crafts show last year and again this year, but that's it so far. Don't want to travel for shows and be in the hole from the start with motel expenses, but who knows, might do a vacation/show sometime in the future.
