mezuzah carving

Post by BillK »

File thus under you never know what you'll carve next with your Shark.

A good friend asked if I could carve matching Mezuzahs for him to mount on the doorway of his home. The Mezuzah is part of the Hebrew religion and is mounted on the doorway of homes of people of the Jewish faith. A small parchment scroll is placed in the back of it which has a blessing inscribed in Hebrew.

It was a nice experience to learn about this. I think this design came out well.

Yes, it did Bill. And I might say, distinctly Aspire. LOL As always a great job. Its almost fun to have new challenges all the time.

Yes Roger, Aspire 4.0 for the weaved Star of David and for the "Shin" symbol at the center. The rose was part of the model pack that comes with Aspire. Thanks!

Yes, the entire surface is curved. A neat trick you can do with Aspire.

Here's a couple of shots of the model.
