Hi Bob,

Thanks for your comments. You can certainly do all the dovetailing and bottom slotting with V-carve. Sketchup now has the ability to export STL files through an add on, so with Cut 3D you are all set, nothing holding you back now for sure.

Have fun!

PS: If you search that warehouse hard enough, you might find a few models that I left in there.

Hi Bob, Thanks for the challenging idea!

From the Sketchup warehouse, 2 hour carve time with a 1/8 ball. 18 inches high. It can be done.

Hi Bill,
The Sketchup warehouse has been my "go to" source for 3D models.
I find almost any 3D models needed there, edit them with Cut 3D, then export to VCarve Pro to combine with other elements.
Since I like to make stuff, it will be a good step to combine 3D with boxes and other projects.

Hi Bill,

I missed this when it was first posted. Awesome is the only term that comes to mind but then I'm not sure of anything that you do that doesn't provoke that term. Wish I had some extra time to let my creativity kick in.... or at least see if I had any. LOL

Both the box with all of the details and the table on which it is resting are beautifully done! Gorgeous work.
