Happy valentine's

Post by tonydude »

Something for valentine's day. Used 3/8" cast acrylic with a 90 deg v bit going down .001 deep. It's 6" x 9" Took 28 minutes to carve.

Yes, me too. The product is great but they charge an arm and a leg for shipping.

Even with shipping it's still cheaper than anyone else. Even the plastic distributor about 5 miles away from my house is $5.00 - $10.00 more than online and l have to wait 3 weeks to get it from him. Online I get mine within a week.

That's crazy, but true in so many places. Guess I'm lucky, my supplier, Mr. Plastic in Little Rock was .15 cents cheaper on any item, and, no high shipping since I'm only 20 minutes away. Plus they let me dumpster dive for "LOTS" of usable scraps if my timing is right. estreetplastics is a good source, and only 3 days shipping time for me, but, as you know, shipping cost is pretty high, but not their fault.
Being retired is hard work. Spending way too much time in the shop these days. (And loving it).
