My first project-Wedding Clock

Post by toolguy »

This is a takeoff the free project offered by Vectric. I was pressed for time as the wedding was approaching so I really didn't have a chance to "over-edit" the original. I tried to get a antique type finish so I used Rockler's Mission Cherry Gel Stain on Cherry wood. This laid a little heavy in the corners to give me the effect I was hoping for (well sort of). Kudos to the boys at Vectric - I followed their directions and had no trouble completing this project. Now I can get a little cocky and edit the next one for better personalization.
