Take the simples thing and make a big deal out of it.
My Daughter asked for a couple of wood wedges from my scrap bind to use at school for door stops.
I cut both of them from a single piece of 2"x2" birch and carved her name on both sides.
Added rubber to the bottom and epoxied rare earth magnets under the rubber so they hang on the steel door frames so they never get lost.
I have made dozens for other Teachers, always at no charge.
