That looks absolutely fab :D
I have a problem with my Z axis. It is only moving about half the distance it is supposed to do eg
The control board says I have done 3 inches but in reality it has only done 1.934 inches.
It doesn't matter whether there is load or not, the result is the same.
The other 2 axes are OK.
Weird

That's strange. Piece of wood jambed under Z carriage?

No, nothing of the sort.
Even without the router mounted, it is still doing it.
I have a horrible feeling there is something wrong with the stepper motor, I guess that somehow it is only going half speed.

Hi lee Let me chime in on this. Are the set screws tight .Then jog it up and down. You can switch motors with another axis. There is nothing to taking it apart.Give it a try.Basecircle
