I'm new to this. How do you do this so the letters are rounded and raised?

Use a pocketing toolpath to clear the material around the letters then use a profile toolpath with a point cutting round over bit on the line to round the text.

Looks good. I have a couple of these cutting boards laying around to try, anything special on cutting the bamboo, did you have issues with it tearing or shredding?
