Classic Bootjack upgraded

We took a classic design on this one and added a non-slip step pad and 3D dished animal carving. We will make these in several hardwoods and have 5 3D models sized and ready to carve. (Deer, Bear, Bull-Shull, Turkey and Wolf) The one pictured below is cut from a piece of Red Oak.

A real busy day! Sorry for the delay!

On this one I used the texture toolpath instead of the "Create Vector Texture" tool. See the attached screen capture for the toolpath parameters. With the texture toolpath you can save the texture toolpath parameters as a *.vtexture file, Then it can be loaded later in other projects. So you can have a library of textures.

Note that I used a second profile toolpath to cut a clean border around the textured area using the same bit.

I should mention. I recommend narrowing the heel profile to accommodate ladies boot sizes.
