Vcarve Help on crv3d file

Post by wsteffan »

Hello,

I am wondering if any of you Varve experts can help me with a file.

I am making a daybed and cutting out the 2 end pieces of the bed.
However I can't seem to get the S curve part right on the daybed.

8.5 Inches Wide
10 Inches High
The back end, or far left on the file .75 inches will be where the rails screw in.
Also the Far right side .75 inches in will be the from rail that holds the platform of the bed.

If any of you can straighten out the S cure so its looks more like a daybed and cuts straight with the rest of the file I have created I would appreciate it.

I cut one of these out today and where the bottom of the S curve meets the front part of the daybed, its off and cuts a little into the rest of the bed.

I have tried the S curve, arc and still can't seem to get it looking correct and straight.

I'm hoping one of you experts can help me out.

picture to show you end results from traced template I made. Gives you general idea on what I want it looking like.

Thanks you
Wayne

You had an open vector at the top left where the corner met with the "S". Went into node edit and repaired it for you.

I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.
