Advent Santa Truck

Post by Bob »

I was looking for a refillable Advent Calendar and found this one http://www.hobbycraft.co.uk/wooden-adve ... 01063-1000
I liked it so much I made three.
I used drawers instead of doors so that I could rearrange the order when I wanted. That's 72 drawers to build...
I would also like to thank Dale, over on the Vectric forum, for getting me interested in truck building.

Nice one Bob. The bigger older boys should even like this one. How many rubber bands does it use???
I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.

I have to admit, I had a little trouble finding ways to mount a rubber band launcher on this one. Although...Goodies could be propelled out of each drawer as it is opened. 8-)

Saw this one in person. It's really quite good! I like the drawer version and the separation of the drawers into their own "cubbies". Really looks sharp!
