Post by richard37043 »

Any ideas on where I can get military insignia for the various branches suitable for V-Carving?
Thanks in advance.

For V-Carving, I've had tremendous success doing a google image search for insignia then converting the images in VCarve (or Aspire). Usually, a small amount of vector cleanup is required. After that, the V-carves look great.

V carving is simple. Just google military insignia line art, usually you'll find plenty. I did some a little diffently, using pocket cuts, and profile cuts on my fathers funeral flag case. I posted photos on this forum back in 2014. Search Military funeral flag case, dated aug 19, 2014. Just to give you some idea to think about.
Being retired is hard work. Spending way too much time in the shop these days. (And loving it).
