Very cool; love the 3D sculpting, with what seems like no scalloping.

Thank you. Yes, very little scalloping, mostly on the top, easily filed out. Used a 1/4" ball nose bit.

Now that Christmas present season is over, time to get back to making. Here are a couple of shots of a block plane I'm making with a 1" Hock blade. This is the blank of birch and teak glued up and laid out ready to cut. I'll use the center point for the start and the extra stock at the ends for clamping and squaring on the flip over.

3D rough cut done. Now you can see the shape starting to form. 1/4” end mill used.
