Light Up game board(LED)

Post by Megamoog »

Completed a light up game board that my son n I worked on together…
He uses it for some D&D as of now, not sure what other games would be played on it.
He had the idea configured along with the size and we worked out the details. He liked the feel n look of the mahogany wood for the frame.
Used some medium walnut Danish Oil for staining, hardware was purchase at a local home hardware store… he wanted a wood n black cast iron look n feel to it.
There is a 3/32" thick piece of glass to support the plastic Lexan sheet. The plastic has a 1" x 1" grid that was engraved with a 3/32" wide flat mill @ .010" deep which gives is a frosted line look. The LED light kit was purchased online.
The dragon .stl file was purchased from online & the Celtic Cross was from an image found online. Both files were scaled & programmed with Aspire & ran on the shark.

Another FUN, FATHER N SON PROJECT…..

Way Cool! Thanks for sharing, megamoog. :geek:

(Curious: in what way are you and the synth related?)

Cheers!
