All:

I had a jonesing for some CNC action today, and I'd been wanting to somehow get my numerous pill bottles "into something". I'm not one for the plastic pill-sorting boxes with all their lids, not really sure why. So, instead I made a quick design for a tiered pill bottle holder. I have three times, morning, 2pm and bedtime, so I made three slots for each bottle to fit into, with a little tiered effect going down the middle....(cf Monty Python and the Holy Grail). It was a fun little project, took about 30 minutes in Fusion and BobCAD, and an hour or so on the CNC. This is 2018-007 Pill Bottle Tray. In Red Oak.

To make the labels more durable than the store-provided ones, I put the Rx number, the drug name and the pharmacy phone # on a label on each bottle. Nice laminated labels; hopefully they'll stick on for a while. In retrospect, I should have include the dosing times. But, I've been doing that for 3 years now, so that's down pat.

Those lids will eventually be replaced by 3D printed rubber ones that won't require such effort to open. Hey...if the kids wanna scarf on my BP meds, well enjoy the nap, 'cause they're gonna make you drowsy. But, since there are no kids here...

Such fun!

Cheers and best regards,
