A few Christmas Projects

Post by mcsteve »

Most of what I have created on my Shark has been simple reproductions of Vectric Free projects or some small one off parts I have needed around the shop. Since retiring in October I have cleaned up the shop and now have it ready to work on projects as I had planned when I first bought this machine in 2014. Here are a few gifts I made for family this Christmas. Thanks to Vectric for the free plans to get me started and I'm hoping to start posting some more "original" work as we move into 2019.
This was some olive wood I've had in the shop for a few years waiting for the right use.

I put together some maple and black walnut and I think it cam out pretty good.

I used a few different stains on some red oak I had. Here is one sample

In addition I also created the cookie stamps from a free projects posted a few years ago. I used up the last of the red oak for the stand and some pine for the stamp handles.

The grand daughters loved them.
