Corian for the Lithophane was carved on CNC. Frame was done in layers on Glowforge laser cutter. Light source is LED strip lights mounted on the inside edge of the frame pointed inward to avoid hot spots.

Nicely done. I love the combination CNC and laser cutter project, with some electronics to boot.

Thank you. the box and frame were the toughest part. Took a couple of attempts to get the support for the 1.25 in thick frame to stand and feel secure in the slot, yet still make it possible to disassemble if the lighting ever needs to be replaced.

Very nice. I love Lithophanes and they have been my No 1 focus since purchasing the shark.

Just tried a new light source. I went with a LED light panel. The panel raises the electronics cost from about $20 to $35 but simplifies the wiring and removes the issue of light strips detaching and possible shadows from wires. The Star Trek inspired lithophane has the light pane
