Up-sized Shoe Cubby

I have had this project on the "white board" for a couple of years now. I need shelves in the "man cave". They have to be big - both tall and deep.
It's my man cave so nothing "off the shelf" sorta speak will work. I have looked and looked for a good design idea and nothing.
When going through the Vectric Free projects a couple of months ago I saw Micheal Tyler's Shoe Cubby and knew immediately that was the look.
How upsized?
42" tall
18" deep
16 1/2 feet long
The uprights were made from true 2"x8" cypress boards
Shelves are maple plywood
Lots of work still to do, but thought I would share a peek.

Ed,

Nice adaptation of the cubby design. Which goes to show you always take a free file even if you have no intention of ever making the exact project and always keep all your design files. You never know when you’ll need one part for some other project. Nice work.

Nicely done! They look fantastic even with the plywood unfinished in the pics. Can't wait to see the completed work.

Just a quick update.
Shelf fronts added.
2 rail sweep for the shape - fluted leaves for embellishment.
