Foot stool with ball and claw feet

Post by BillK »

Hi. I’ve been away for a while.

Here’s something I recently completed. A footstool with feet. Actually claws, with talons.

Created the 3D model, then figured how to cut it without a rotary since I don’t have one.

Beautiful work!!! I've been thinking of TRYING the same thing and like you I do not have a rotary attachment. I'll just keep winding my butt and scratching my watch until I figure it out. Seeing yours has propelled me into looking at it more serious. Thanks and again BEAUTIFUL JOB....

Thanks! I wrote this up extensively on the vectric forum, actually in 3 posts. If you look at this post, about 3/4 of the way down you’ll see links to the other 2 posts https://forum.vectric.com/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=35974

This is done with 4 sided machining, but there is a quirk in the software that you need to work around and I describe it in those posts.

Thanks again.
