Tool database

Post by JPITT »

I have modified the tool data base to my tool box. I do designing on a "clean" computer and hookup my "dirty" laptop to the Shark. I can transfer files and TP but any one know how to quickly transfer tool database so I can make them the same?

You can export the tool database to a thumb drive, then import it to the other machine.
Alternatively you can find the tool database file on the machine that is completely configure, then copy it and replace the one on the other PC with it.

You didn't say what software you are using. I will assume it is VcarvePro or cut3D. these are both Vectric products.
If you go to Vectric Form.com or Vectric FAQ you will find numerous postings on this subject.
A word here. I personally have used Vectric Aspire for five years and am very happy with it. Vectric supports its products better than any software I have ever used.
If you go online and enter (Vectric FAQ or Vectric user Forum) you can get many of your questions answered.
I have the following link on My favorites in Google.
http://www.vectric.com/products/aspire. ... QgodABYAgA

If you can't find your answer here try email at Info@vectric.com
Good luck
