Check inches verses millimeters. If you create a file in inches but the controller is set in MM you'll have a scaling problem.

I got it to work all I did is when I made my G code I used the (mm) instead of the (inch) one. Is this normal or is there a setting somewhere that I need to change?

If you set up your material using mm, then you'll need to save your tool paths with the mm post processor. When you load them into the controller there is also a mm vs inch selection option.
Back to the "load error" problem... one way this happens is when you've got two (or more) instances of the controller running at the same time. This very thing happened to me yesterday. I'd double clicked it to run, but the PC was ssllooww to open it so I'd double clicked it a second time. Didn't realize it as one was right atop the other.
