HD4 and touch plate

Post by shooter1940 »

OK I know I am new and just learning. I received the touch plate yesterday and started to try and set it up.......well, the instruction sheet and the shark manual are like to different worlds. Let me say this, my shark has the LCD pendant. I cannot get any of the control panels software to find the controller (seems most people can't either), I followed the instructions in the manual to set it up. No problem, but the V zero, well let's just say, I must be doing something wrong. It will go to the lower left hand corner and do it's thing and then not do anything else. Hope all of this is clear. Any help would be nice. I really don't want to contact support, but may have to.

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend.

I am unable to get the Control Panel (3.0) software to work correctly either (on two different PC's)...... But I am able to run the touch plate from the Pendant. ...... I assume that since you say your control panel software won't connect to the controller, your are running the touch plate from the Pendant ?

Hi all, I no longer work for next wave, but a user contacted me and asked me to read your messages..

CP 2.1 is only for the traditional ncpod non-pendant HD 3 or older one-piece Shark controllers. 1.5h is for the old ncpod two-piece Shark controllers.
my old help site should have those links - http://help.nextwaveautomation.com
2.1 Beta - http://nextwaveautomation.com/Downloads ... 1_Beta.exe

CP 3.0 was being split off into multiple versions. The 3.0 supported both controllers, but the thought was it might be more stable if there were a separate version for each controller.
3.0 Beta - http://nextwaveautomation.com/Downloads ... 0_Beta.exe

The ncPod non-pendant Shark HD 3 and older one-piece controller version was called 2.5.
2.5 Beta - http://nextwaveautomation.com/Downloads ... 5_Beta.exe

The Next Wave Shark Controller with pendant was to be called 3.1.
3.1 Beta - http://nextwaveautomation.com/Downloads ... 0_Beta.exe

They may need to provide you links.. please review their main site under [Downloads] as they likely moved the executable around.

Some people change their minds like every three hours (sometimes generous for people with severe Adult ADD). so working with them can sometimes be challenging because their lack of focus can be damaging to your success. Taking B-Complex every other day and D3 twice a day can really help increase focus.

If you have a HD4, the touch plate plugs into the control box and not the pendant.
It only works plugged into the control box per Next Wave support. At least that is what they told me and when I had my HD4, that is the only way it worked.

I have one for sale if anybody is interested. $55 shipped in the U.S.
