hD4 Pendant

Postby Ivanho » Wed Jan 10, 2018 9:04 pm

Just got a HD4 and everything works well except the Pendant will not read the tap files on the usb stick. It recognizes the stick but the screen is blank. I am able to use the machine from the computer and I can set up the machine from the pendant. It just won't read the files on the usb stick. I have formatted the stick efat. I am not able to format fat 32. Anyone have a solution.
Thanks

Give Next Wave a call tomorrow. They will walk you thru it in short order!
You have to make sure you are saving your files to the correct post processor. I believe it's arc inches, hhc

Got it to work. Thumb drive must be less then 6 gb. I finally found one that is 4gb and it works. Local stores don't have any that small. Did find some on amazon. PP must be cnc shark usb arc. I had two guys helping me who run cnc machines in their production shops and they trouble setting this thing up. I would be in a world of hurt without them. I dread the day I have to update the firmware. The machine came with the latest versions. I guess all is well in shark land.

Saga Continues. Not all brands of memory stick work no matter the size. Kingston sticks do not work. I am still testing. Sansdisks seem to all work.
