CNC Shark Touch Plate

Post by cwfreitas »

I just bought the CNC Shark Touch Plate from Rockler and I was told it works with the shark Pro. I must have an older control box because I don't have the plug for the Touch Plate plug. Any suggestions on how I can make it work?

Call or email NewWaveAutomation.com's support. When the probe came out it came with a 1/8" jack to install in the old controller. That jack is the same one used with the TouchPlate. If you are lucky they can send you the jack with instructions on how to install it. Basically just requires drilling a hole in the controller box, plugging the cable into the PC Board inside, and installing the jack into the hole you just drilled.
