Table Upgrade

Post by Teir »

Thought i'd post my upgrades and table made for my pro.

I bought my shark almost 2 years ago. The table was a bit bowed...so I started
building...and ended up making a heavy base and table to hold things flat.

The table plate has drilled and tapped holes for clamping and is made of .75 thick aluminum.
The base of the machine is very stout as well. I left the gantry alone so i did not increase the
weight on the Y axis motor.

The clamp on dust guards keep most of the sawdust in the machine area. The table itself is made
of 2x2x.25 angle and has a small shelf up under it to keep most of the dust and chips out of the control box.

I plan to add vacuum and a dust boot this winter.
