The bosch colt

Post by sharkie »

After almost a year of use, my Shark Pro is making me very happy. However, I am on my second bosch variable colt and it is now acting up. I replaced the brushes when it seemed to be changing rpms erratically and may have repaired the wrong part. Has anyone replaced the variable speed control, or had similar symptoms of erratic rpms? How hard is it to either change it to constant speed or repair the variable switch. It looks like a circuit board inside.
Thanks in advance

I have had the same problem with my 2 yr old colt. I'll order a new board from here:

The Colt has a one year warranty. It sounds like they might be able to help you. Try them, they have been very helpful for me.

Also, I purchased a new Colt with an extended warranty this time. I'll see if that helps.

Good luck.
