HAS ANYONE EVER TRIED THIS
Hello folks, I've been using my shark for two years and enjoyed this forum to hone my skills. I recently was playing around with a profile cut, and wanted a faster machine time. I increased the feet rate to 200% with a 1/32" dept of cut. I chose wisely to "air cut" before the real deal, and the machine ran faster than I ever knew it could. So I continued to actually run it in the wood and it came out fine. Machine time was shortened and no smoke or anything burning after the dust settled. I imagine there are some cuts you can increase the feed rate on and some you want to back down. Thanks to all who contribute and to those just beginning keep on learning. -Jason

You can run any speed you'd like as ling as you are sure the bit can take the side pressure from cutting the material. I'm pretty new to CNC so I run very conservatively, all my jobs I'm sure I cold run the bit faster and get jobs done quicker, but I worry I'll break a bit.
