looking for some help with carving font overlapping font

Ive seen this done on the smaller click and carves, but I have yet to figure out how to overlap font on top of font with my shark pro plus. Meaning I want last name say like "SMITH" on the bottom and I want put the first names on top of the last name (SMITH) if anyone understands what I am talking about please give me a shout. I tried to post an example photo on here but cant seem to figure that out either lol
