Stop Router in middle of project

Post by LAMEIII »

Given that I've seen a number of posts about the Bosch router getting hot or dying; I was wondering if it's possible to pause/stop the system to allow the router to cool down then restart to finish the project?

Yes, there is. The latest control panel has a PAUSE button and a CONTINUE button that can be used. However, I have only used this to look closer at what is being done without chips flying in my face. You wouldn't want to shut off the controller or the computer obviously.

When you say the latest Control Panel do you mean the Shark Control Panel or VCarve Pro?

The Shark Control Panel. There is a pause button that appears during the program run.
