Hello all,
I am curios about how everybody is dealing with the saw dust that is produced by the machine. I'll get my machine soon and concerned about this issue.
thanks for the feedback,

Re: Dust control!
Do a search on the topic and you will find lots of solutions. They run from dust shoes or boots, skirts, cross fans to a collector, to a full inclosures with vac systems hooked up. Many will have pics. Also try Vectics forum search.
Mostly it will depend on what you are cutting where you are cutting it and how much dust to can handle.
Good luck and keep cutting

Re: Dust control!
I just bought a dust hood from Kentcnc.net. It is really nice.

Could you post some pictures. Also, I would like to see how you install it.erobold wrote:I just bought a dust hood from Kentcnc.net. It is really nice.

Re: Dust control!
There is a lovely system used on the Vision routers that I saw in their demo videos using a brushed shoe. Doing one similar for the Shark in CAD at the moment for mine.
Re: Dust control!
Just finished a dust shoe that I made from 1/2" MDF. I tried to make on the machine but decided maybe I should make it simpler. I used my drill press to make all the holes. It works great. Still, I ordered the dust shoe from Kentcnc.net should get it any day now.
