I really like Precise bits products. TIR is really important and you are correct. I see no such spec.

I was hoping that Tim Owen might jump in here and provide some information. Looks like an email to tech support may be in order. I bet quite a few of us would be interested in buying this spindle if we had more information. This is a matter of price versus performance. I would like to see the installation and operator's manual with specs. I wonder if it comes with one?

I ordered the spindle, It should be here today.
It says it comes with everything you need to an HD. We will see...
I am more worried about the weight on the plastic... Does anyone sell a retrofit of aluminum to replace the plastic for the router housing?

I will photo the box as I open it and let you know what I get...

Way to go, Tim! I look forward to it. If everything is favorable, I may get one as well. I could use it being quieter
in the shop. Cheers!

Ok first impression of the Spindle..
The box looks very 3rd party... Like something from e-bay..

I can only show 3 photos so I will add the spindle in another post.
I am concerned about how to get this all set up.. So far I have not found any instructions except for the Inverter manual...
And after feeling the weight of the spindle I am even more concerned about the plastic... I am still looking for aluminum router/spindle replacement brackets...

Ok, So, I went out to the shop, removed my router... started to slide the spindle into the bracket... The spindle is a 1/4 inch smaller that the router bracket can hold.. hmmmm, Next step I am going to try and call Tim... anyone have the # for next wave?

I was under the impression that a new plate to hold the spindle came with it for the price. "Clamping kit for Spindle to CNC Shark"

Bout 2years ago I was gonna buy a spindle.E-bay had the whole deal.It was expensive but It came with everthing.Except clamps to hold the spindle. You own a shark and you can cut your own.The cannot make and sell these with clamps for every machine. Also I retro fitted my shark with alu flat stock. And backer board See posting.I even saw on ebay how to setup your inverter.Well thats my take good luck Basecircle
