Sharkcutup,

Do you live in Australia or New Zealand? Your pictures appear to be upside down. I figure they would work down there. :D

This is certainly an interesting pattern.

Neither I live in the Southeast of the USA. I posted this thread from my cell phone, not exactly sure why the photo is upside down here. It is in the correct orientation on my cell. :?:

Yeah the pattern was drawn from what I had seen while I was out and about one day. Thought I'd give it a go and see how it would look --- turned out very nice so far. I plan on putting a thin slab
of red oak in between the two base slabs and putting a darker stain on the middle (clock) section with the rest I will probably just put a natural finish coat on them.

Have a GREAT DAY!!! :D

Challenge --- I Agree!!!

But I am not so sure I want to play around with " Time "! Seems to me that " Time " has been moving along just fine without any of my help and/or interference!!!

Kayvon, Thank you for the suggestion though! ;) I have been monitoring that particular Thread "CNC and Clock Building" from time to time. It is fascinating and AWE inspiring to see wood returned to life once again!

Good Luck with your Wood Clock Building!!! :D

Have a GREAT DAY!!! :D

Does the part with the clock in it just sit on the two vertical pieces?
Very neat design!

Yes it does. This way you can take it down to change the battery whenever needed without requiring to have to move the whole thing.

It is nearing completion so I will be posting a photo of the completed clock here soon!!!
