Coupler location on 60th Anniversary Edition

Post by SCHIRMY13 »

I've been told to check to see that set screws are tightened on the coupler because in a profile toolpath my machine is drifting on the second pass. Does anyone have a pic as to what I'm looking for?

Thanks!

Ack! Sorry we didn't respond sooner. Did you get this figured out? Below are three pix of the three couplers, one on each of the X, Y and Z axes:
If your X-axis runs parallel to the T-track slots, that coupler is under the bed, and not easy to get to.
If your X-axis runs parallel to the T-track slots, that coupler is under the bed, and not easy to get to.
So, your Y axis runs along the gantry, so that coupler is at the left-hand side where the stepper motor attaches.

And the Z-axis coupler is up underneath the top plate.

They all take a 4mm hex wrench, though a 5/32" will work in a pinch.

The odd white specs everywhere are from the aluminum chips/flakes reflecting the phone's flash

Hope that helps, and again...my apologies for taking so long. No excuses, we should have done you better.
