CNC Shark Maintenance
Hello everybody. What kind of maintenance can I do on my shark to help it last longer? There are a lot of moving parts. Thank you in advance
Re: CNC Shark Maintenance
#1. Keep it clean and lubricated. clean the dust off of the rails and the threads. I use Boeshield T-9. It works for me. I live near the gulf and things rust or corrodes if not managed.
#2. Don't run it as fast as it probably could go. Don't let it slam around.
#3. Keep checking the hardware screws and keep them tight and things in alignment.
That is what I have to offer.
Good luck.

Re: CNC Shark Maintenance
Thank you Bill Z for the reply. I am lubricating the bars with my gun oil that I use on my pistols because of the stainless steel. I do not run it fast at all. I will check the screws the next time I run my machine. Other than that it seems that I am doing what I need to do. That’s great! Thank you very much for the information.
