Guess we no longer have moderators as these crap postings continue

I believe the only moderator actually works for Rockler, the forum's sponsor. It usually takes him a couple days to respond to spam notifications.

It would be nice to see a couple active forum users assigned the moderator privileges, even if they are only ever used to keep the spambots out.

Sounds like a good idea seeing the present system doesn't work very well

Why is this site being hjacked by this sort of junk, and what can be done about it.
Al Wolford should be contacted at Rockler!

The report button should notify someone at Rockler. Maybe that someone is on vacation?

Meanwhile, I think everyone here keeps hoping someone (else) will contact Rockler. I wrote them an email just now. We'll see what they say.

I just got off the phone with AL. He has blocked him from the site and is now trying to figure out how to remove the first 10 pages of advertising from the site.
Should be corrected in the next day or so.

Maybe Al has lost interest, it's been over a week of these postings and emails from several on this forum including myself without a response. If this was stopped the first day or two, it would be simple to remove instead of trying to figure out how to remove pages and pages of this crap. Did Al happen to say why he's been absent?

Thanks, Steve. I hope he ends up appointing a moderator to take care of these in the future.
