Re: Shark Pro Plus for sale

Seller wants to get $3250 and the buyer is offering $3500?
Even with $120 shipping it's only $3370.

I'm confused but I wish I was selling mine.

Re: shark pro router clamp

Unless you can make an aluminum clamp you'll just end up spending more time and money before you eventually buy one of Sam's clamps. I have one and it is a Major improvement.

Thanks again Sam. :D

Re: Computer

Try Best Buy and look for DELL refurbished. $200-$300 you can find a nice computer with Win7 and lots of memory and drive capacity and warranty. These are off leas units that have been refurbished and work well. Good Luck. Walmart also sells refurbs. I needed an older model with a parallel port so ...

Re: Looking for help

If you're serious about sign making and also want to do 3D look at buying Aspire. It will literally do everything you want and it includes many designs, both 2D & 3D. There are tutorials that walk you through step by step through many processes. As far as fonts, there are several free fonts to be fo...

Re: activating the M3 command in a file

I also have a CNC Shark Pro Plus HD and it DOES come on with the software and shuts off after the file is run.
You need to contact NWA support, the controller software is theirs, not Vectric.

Re: Training

Just an FYI The Vectric Team are very pleased to announce that this year's User Group Meeting will be hosted at The Florida Hotel & Conference Center on Friday 10th & Saturday 11th October 2014! Seating is limited and first come, first served. I'm sure they will cover all of their software but they ...

Re: What would you like to see?

I believe if NWA wants to keep a happy and growing customer base they would consider building an all metal machine. I've yet to hear of anyone that was satisfied that they had to work within the "limitations" of the machine. That being the flex in the gantry which in turn causes the user to have to ...

Re: V-carve corners

Just an FYI.

I have two 60 degree bits that come to a point. One is the 60 degree sign making bit sold by Rockler. The carbide is ground on the backside so it comes to a point. The other is a carbide triple wing 60 degree bit made by Whiteside.
Both can be used for fine detail carving.

My specialty wood comes from a place called Keim Lumber in the Amish country about 45min from my house. They have an exotic wood section and carry literally every species known. Some of it is Very expensive. It's not uncommon to buy a plank measuring 4/4x10"x8' for over $100. I was just there last w...
