The long project I just posted about in the Software section of this forum used an image imported from Vector Art's Mega Collection. I didn't have any problems and it cut perfectly.

Project Run Time
I've just finished my second longer project with a predicted run time of 3 hours 55 minutes. However, the actual cut time was about 2 hours 30 minutes. I had this same experience with shortened actual time on my first long project. I'm a little surprised that the software doesn't predict the time be...

New Bits Not Listed
I'd like to experiment with some different router bits that aren't listed in the VCarve Pro tool database. For example, I might light to try out a larger round nose or core box bit. I'm guessing that this will work if I select a similar bit in the tool database such as a ball nose and put in the cor...

Re: Exchanging X and Y Axis
Just rotated my gantry 180 degrees, switched the X and Y cables going into the control box, and tried it out. It works great. It looks like you lose a little table length along the new X axis, but everything sure is easier to visualize now. Thanks for everyone's help.

Exchanging X and Y Axis
I'm considering making a sign that is two feet wide by four feet long. I want my lettering and graphics to run parallel to the four foot side. i.e. the four foot side of the sign will be down. Is there an easy way to change the X and Y axis on my VCarve software. I know I can highlight words, graphi...

Vector Art Mega Collection 1
Hi All - I just received my Vector Art Mega Collection 1. This comes with a CD and a very large spiral notebook with visual representations of each vector art that is included. I have not tried any out yet, but I am very impressed with what was sent. It's a tad pricey, but seems well worth the price...

Re: Cutting Correct Diameter Circles
Dale - I don't positively know the answer, but my gut would have said to cut outside the circle. In any event, can't you put in any size circle, cut it out, measure the cut diameter, and then compare that with what your were hoping to get. You could then adjust your input circle diameters according ...
